Christmas!!

Christmas 2010 was kindof a repeat of 1999, meaning we are in the same house and it was almost the same weather. Alexis spent her first Xmas here, weird to think.
Vivian and Jeremiah both got new guitars for their Xmas so I expect to hear some music soon.

These are our new PJ's, mine are footie pajamas.  Fun but static-ee.
This was a good Christmas, even without the snow. The kids were all thrilled with their gifts and the time at Grandma's was fun.  We finally met another of Joel's cousins. They all look like family that's for sure.
Here is a fuzzy picture of our tree. Duh! Like you couldn't figure that out on your own.

Vivian as Lulie McIntosh

Vivian Leigh was in her school play competition yesterday.  4 schools were there to compete. Their school placed 3rd! And Vivian won the Best Actress award out of all those students! She is so happy and proud as are we :)

Lake Livingston

Even though this lake is infested with giant Alligator Gar fish and even the rare Alligator, it is really beautiful sometimes. This was taken Saturday night from my Mother-in-law's lake house. WOW!

Where have we been?

Things are so crazy in our lives now that I work 5 days a week and Joel is in school.  Seems like there isn't any free time in our lives.
The kids are doing great.  Jeremiah recently had a birthday, 15! Wow! Vivian is the lead in her school play, OMG! Alexis is still a genius...seriously.

Life is good...

Applique

I have recently (about 12 months ago) discovered the joys of Applique.  While surfing the net, I found the most adorable pattern for an applique cameo and made this book cover and an awesome bag with that pattern. It is so easy I can't believe I haven't done more of it.

Homemade soup!

Since the weather is turning colder, it's time for soup! The most tasty is obviously Chicken Noodle with Homemade Noodles.  And boy was it tasty.

Noodles are way easier to make than I thought, one cup flour and two yard eggs and boom you've got some tasty homemade noodles.  Yummy:)
