Keep on keeping on!

Finally got both sets of curtains made and hanged.

This is where the two small  bunks used to be. Now it is the girls clothing and entertainment area. To the right is our second fridge.

Cute little jewelry hanger I found at walmart.

Joel put one of these on either side of the cabinets so we could hang whatever, it works great for bras.

Made me a new earring hanger.  Now maybe I can unpack the rest of my earrings.

Covered my Texas key rack with some pretty green and white fabric.  It looks like rain drops...because I feel like it has done nothing but rain for the past month.

Found a cute little owl at Hobby Lobby.

Canisters and cans...have to be creative with storage.

Joel mounted our chalkboard.  We have fun drawing pictures for each other and leaving notes back and forth.

Bedrooms

After finding out that the wall/headboard was weak and had a small break we decided to add wains-coat!
I love it and think it makes it look classier.

Cool shot of both sides of the bedroom at once.

This is just to the right of our bedroom door, by the front door.  I like it.

Looking it at our bed. You can see the carpet we bought and Joel installed.  He really is the bestest!

Curtains that I made for Alexis's bunk.

This ladder was made be Joel. I had some left over carpet so I bound up the edges with cotton yarn (damn that hurt my hands) and stapled it to the steps.  Looks corny but it is a life saver.  Vivian didn't like the blue so we compromised and painted her area green.  The colors compliment each other well and since we already had this paint left over from the shed years ago it was practically free!

The latest on our new Home

Started decorating. Using these colors; yellow, green, black, white.  It is quite lovely.

I made the curtains from the old ones I bought at IKEA.

Cute!

View from the girl's room.

Over the sink I used 3 small curtains.  I lift the middle and it looks like a valance, kinda.

Bathroom vanity.

I covered the ugly mirror back with some pretty fabric.  It is pretty.

I made these from old pickle and artichoke jars.  They are neat.

Desk.  Joel got the TV mounted & the blu-ray player installed, it hooks up through the stereo so we have killer surround sound.

Kind of a dark picture. Kitchen area.

Re-modeling the bunkhouse.  Joel took out the two small bunks so we can add some shelving and room to move for the girls.

Joel found some old water damage.  He pulled out all of the old rotten wood and insulation. He re-built the walls and floor, added new insulation and floor.  He is amazing!

He really can do anything.

He added some under bed storage and closed off the rest so it can be accessed only from the outside.

The water heater used to be under one of the small bunks, now it will be a seat.  I am going to make a nice cushion.  We are going to paint the room the same blue as my bedroom, with green and white accents.  Going to start painting today!
