Since Last Time
Here is our adorable Hen House. Joel tilled me up a small square to have a flower garden. I planted purple coneflowers and moss roses. Can't wait for them to grow.
They are our "Hot Texas Chicks!"
Here are the four hens, Joel took the two roosters back to his mom. We are going to get a few more hens eventually. Joel built the whole coop...well we did start out with a building.
I had to stand on ladder to take this picture of my award winning artist. He is handsome and talented.
Close-up
Here is my Vivver's new haircut I gave her...it is pretty cute, but not as cute as my Vivvers!
I just love this picture!

Happy Birthday to Grandma!
Here is the awesome reclaimed frame we all helped to refinish to frame the puzzle that Grandma got for Christmas. It is sooo pretty.
This is what it looked like before 2 days of sanding, and 10 minutes of staining.

February in Texas
I love the weather in TX most of the time. This weekend was exceptionally beautiful tho. Maybe it was because we have been couped up for so long due to the ice and sub-zero temps...
Here is how my sewing shack is coming along thanks to the lovely weather. We put a pathway of stepping stones in.
We made a small flower garden on one side of the patio Joel and the kids made.
Here is another view. All of the materials, bricks, wood, stones, etc. were reclaimed from various piles that Joel's Granny had laying around.
The scalloped bricks were found holding up an old propane tank we have in the yard.
Joel buried a piece of pipe about a foot into the ground and we have an instant flower pot. Maybe I will paint it...maybe not.
The poles were added as an after thought. I wanted to be able to hang flowering baskets. All of the pots we found in the woods. We can be very creative with found items if we try. I am really loving my little shack. The potential it has is enormous!
